Finding friends for Tapped out on Android

Even whacky day is over, I just published an update with a few bugfixes for Tapped Out Tools. I still play this game a lot even I almost finished building all available buildings and solved all quests.

The latest really cool feature for Tapped Out Tools on Android is the Community feature. With this feature you can quickly find new friends to share eggs and whack snakes :)

Several Apps removed from the play store

Hey guys.

Recently google has taken down some of my apps from the play store.  They claim that I violated intelectual property of the owners. I find this quite of strange.

I don't use any original graphics in my apps. No original game icons and I always state at the app description and the so called "function image" (the one on top of the play store entry) that the apps are just unofficial fan apps.

The really strange thing is, that there are a lot "competitive" apps out there, that use original graphics as an app Icon and they are still available on the market. Most of these apps also use malicous advertisements, like airpush which will nag you with ad-notifications and ad-icons it will push to your device.

Well it seems, that google doesn't really care. My Candy Crush Tools app is removed. I am sorry that I cannot publish updates and bugfixes for this app. The apps were removed about a week ago and I am writing daily mails to the play store to get the apps published again, but I didn't get any answer yet. Maybe they are just too busy...I don't know.

Hey Minecraft Fans.

Google Has Begun Purging Ad-Blocking Apps From The Play Store

According to Android developer Jared Rummler and a number of other sources, Google has begun purging known ad-blocking software from the Play Store today.

Today I am going to share a few free apps, every android developer should at least have checked out. These apps are especially for android developers and not just "normal" android users.

Device Frame Generator

The first one is one of my favorite apps I mentioned in another blog posting. It's called Device Frame Generator.
After you created a screenshot of your awesome app, just pop up the app, choose a device and add your screenshot. BAM!
You got a really nice and crisp screenshot inside your device.

Andlytics

Andlytics collects statistics from the Google Play Developer Console. It lets you track active installs, total installs, ratings, and comments for all your Android apps that are published on Google Play.

Andlytics is an awesome app for every android developer, who has put some apps to the play store. It will show you detailed statistics about our apps, ratings, downloads etc.
After your first install, dont be to disappointed cause it will not show statistics.
It needs to collect them for you and will do this on a regular base (configurable). So after a few days you can enjoy these statistics.

This app also notifies you about new ratings, comments etc, so you don't need to check the play store anymore ;)

Bitbeaker/Bitbucket

Bitbucket offers free private git repositories. Their app bitbeaker is currently a very basic git repository tool. But it's a cool app to keep track of your repository and issues.

DevAppsDirect

A rather new and small app. It aims to list cool android libraries, extensions, widgets etc. Most of the libs should not be new to you, but I like the idea of the app and if the developer keeps it updated I think it will be a cool source to find new useful libraries. Play Store Link
